ERBF is a fully open-access journal with no fees for authors or readers.
All published articles are freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, without any subscription fees, registration requirements, or access barriers.
All articles published in ERBF are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited and the source is credited.
ERBF does not charge any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees. The journal is entirely free for both authors and readers.
All published articles are permanently available on the journal's website in PDF format. Authors are also permitted to deposit the published version (Version of Record) in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or personal websites, provided that proper attribution to ERBF is given with a link to the original publication.
Authors may archive their pre-print (submitted version) at any time. Authors may archive their post-print (accepted version) and the published version (Version of Record) immediately upon publication, with full citation and a link to the article on the ERBF website. No embargo period applies.
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting to ERBF, authors grant the journal the right of first publication under the CC BY 4.0 license. A Copyright Transfer Agreement is signed upon acceptance to formalize these terms.
